Openstream.ai Awarded U.S. Patent for Multilingual AI System Coordination and workflow executionand Wor

BRIDGEWATER, N.J., FEBRUARY 10, 2026

Openstream.ai today announced that it has been granted U.S. Patent No. 12,548,554, covering systems and methods for coordinating AI-driven components to execute multi-step tasks across data sources, rules, and enterprise workflows.

The patent describes an architectural approach for structuring AI-enabled processes in which inputs are interpreted, logic or rules are applied, and actions are executed in a defined sequence across multiple systems. The invention focuses on how AI components are organized and orchestrated within operational environments, rather than on any single AI model or user interface.

“This patent recognizes the importance of system-level design in applying AI to real-world enterprise workflows across multiple languages,” said Magnus Revang, Chief Product Officer at Openstream.ai. “It reflects our focus on building AI-enabled systems that operate within defined processes and constraints, with clear execution flow.”

"The real challenge isn't just deploying AI that speaks multiple languages—it's deploying AI that builds trust across cultures and delivers outcomes people can rely on," said David A. Stark, CMO at Openstream.ai. "This patented approach in Eva enables understanding intent, emotional context, and cultural nuances for any language. Combined with our neuro-symbolic architecture that grounds every response in verified enterprise knowledge, you get multilingual AI that responds with empathy and delivers trustworthy outcomes for enterprises regardless of market."

The patented technology addresses the coordination of AI processes with external data sources, enterprise applications, and rule-based logic, enabling the structured execution of tasks that require multiple steps and interactions. By formalizing this approach, the patent supports the use of AI as part of broader operational systems rather than as a standalone, ad-hoc tool.

The patent strengthens Openstream.ai’s intellectual property portfolio and supports its ongoing work in developing enterprise AI platforms designed for complex operational environments.
